On June 18, the Phase II Intelligent Manufacturing Plant of Jinma Rubber owned by Qingdao Fulin Tire in Malaysia officially launched trial production, with the Minister of Transport of Malaysia attending the commissioning ceremony. As a core overseas production hub of Fulin Tire, this base is fully equipped with automatic shaping, intelligent vulcanization and on-line inspection equipment, which greatly improves delivery efficiency across Southeast Asia.
In recent years, leading domestic tire enterprises have ramped up factory construction in Southeast Asia collectively: Yuanxing Tire has built a plant in Indonesia, Sailun and Linglong have set up operations in Vietnam, while Fulin has deepened its presence in Malaysia. Their core motivation is to evade anti-dumping tariffs imposed by Europe and the United States and gain proximity to the huge local consumer market for two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.

Statistics show that Southeast Asia has more than 300 million motorcycles in stock, and demand for heavy-duty transport tires keeps rising year by year. Building local factories can cut logistics cycles by over 30% and effectively reduce international trade tariff costs, making this the mainstream model for Chinese tire brands to expand overseas.
